Julia Rossi, better known as "Rossi", was a radiant light to all who knew her. She was one of those rare people who seemed to be good at everything she did. As a kid, Rossi was a natural athlete who played every sport possible. She went on to play lacrosse at West Chester University, where she was a defensive All-American and a leader on and off the field. She excelled in the classroom as well, earning her bachelor’s degree in Biology when she graduated in May 2022. Beyond athletics and academics, Rossi’s creativity and personality shined brightly in many other places. She was a gifted musician, an artist, and an incredible dancer. If there was music playing, you could be sure Rossi was at the center of the crowd, with pure happiness on her face, pulling others in with her energy.

But Rossi’s greatest gift was the way she loved people. She was the kind of friend everyone deserves to have in their life. She was kind, compassionate, fun, and loyal. She had an incredible ability to make anyone feel seen and cared for, whether you had known her for years or only a moment. Rossi gave so much of herself to others without ever asking for anything in return. Her gentle yet vibrant spirit left an unforgettable mark on every life she touched.

In November 2022, at the age of 22, Rossi’s life was cut short due to struggles with mental health. While her loss is immeasurable, her spirit continues to inspire us. Everything we do through Rossi’s Rally is in honor of her. We celebrate who she was, the love she gave, and the joy she brought into the world.
